Lambda Beta Alpha Military Sorority, Inc. was founded on November 10, 2017 by ten women veterans across multiple U.S. military services who were looking for a way to strengthen their bond as Sisters-in-Arms.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, LBA envisions a world where female veterans are as equally respected, represented and advocated for as their male counterparts; a world free from sexual violence, discrimination, harassment, assault, and above all - fear.
We want all women veterans to be free from the fear of where they might live next, where tonight's meal might come from, whether they will survive the next round in their fight against their mental health challenges, or fear they will suffer backlash or be stigmatized for reporting maltreatment.
Above all, LBA’s network of sisters will create a world where all women veterans are supported, protected, seen, and whole.
